"Well, if you were a bee and a bull sat on you, what would you do?"

For those that have read the book The Story of Ferdinand (Hayzen's absolute FAVORITE book) you'll understand the title!
I have to tell of our dramatic experience last night.  So, Hayzen had a messy diaper so I went to get a diaper and wipees.  Hayzen proceeds to run away from me and lay on the couch.  All of a sudden I hear him screaming!  I run to his side and he is holding his leg and there is a huge wasp on the couch next to him.  It had stung him!  Never being stung myself I panicked and didn't know what to do. So I immediately called my friend, Alana, and asked her what to do.  She didn't know either so she looked up on line what to do for wasp stings.  To make it short, he's not allergic (thank goodness!) and he eventually calmed down.  So for those who wouldn't know what to do either, a quick fix for a wasp sting is ice, hydrogen peroxide, hydrocortizone cream, and a band-aid.  If you're allergic, well, you're just SOL.  Lol.  j/k .  You'll have to look that one up.  We've got one childhood mishap down.......hundreds more to go!
