"Corn Fed."

A couple of weeks ago Hayzen and I walked to the backyard and went on a scavenger hunt (not really a hunt).  We were picking up some of the corn that had been left from the harvest.  We wanted to collect some for when our chickens get big.  As I was picking the corn off of the cobs and putting it in a bag I would throw the cob on the ground.  Hayzen insisted on picking up each and every last (bare) cob that I would throw on the ground.  It was very comical to watch him try to carry about a dozen cobs.  He would drop one, stop to pick it up, and drop about 4 more.  And it went like that for about an hour.  Needless to say we had fun.  We love that we have fields in our backyard.  However, we don't like that we no longer have a natural fence due to the harvesting.  We can now see about 50 miles across the distance!
