This last weekend, Matt and I were heading down to Hurricane for a horse show (that's a later post) and on the way we stopped at the pediatricians so Hayzen could have his 4 month check up. It went as well as expected. Well, almost. Before we went into the doctor's, waiting in the lobby, Hayzen was clearly having a blowout. You could hear it, smell it, and see Hayzen's face go red. Matt was holding him while all of this was going on and of course after it happens, he hands him to me. I let him sit on my lap for a minute to make sure he was completely done before I went in the bathroom to change him. Much to my surprise, I get in there, lay him on the changing table and my white sweater is covered with green. I sit him up and his whole back was covered in green slime. Luckily, being the prepared mom that I am, I had an extra pair of clothes in his diaper bag. I take off his onesie and it was almost all the way to his neck. So I had quite the time changing my dirty little boy. I changed him just in time for the nurse to call us.
His check up went well. He's plenty healthy. He weighed 17 lbs 15 oz. putting him in the 95 percentile for his weight. He was 26.75 inches long putting him in the 97 percentile for his height and his head was 16.75 inches putting him in the 60 percentile for head circumference. Yes, he is big like his daddy. Luckily he's tall for his age too and not just chubby. He had to get his shots but he actually did very well. He didn't cry very much. The next few days though he was miserable because he has big nots in his legs where they gave him the shots. He still eats a ton. Along with feeding him cereal in the morning, I still have to feed him a full bottle or he gets very upset. He's still sleeping through the night (hurray!) and it's wonderful. Even though he screams sometimes during the day and makes me crazy, he's still the cutest boy ever and momma's little sweetheart.

Don't you just love blow outs?! Pain in the butt! It was great seeing you this past weekend. We had a lot of fun with you guys.
That totally makes me laugh!! I'm glad Adrie's was at least in Holden!
He's going to pass Reese right on by in the weight category! At least we know he's being fed!
