New Addition (Possibly)

Today was a good day!  The weather was warm enough that we could be outside most of the day.  Matt starts the night shift tonight so he was home during the day so we spent some family time together.  We got to ride horses, play with the chickens, bbq some home grown chicken, eat some homemade bread, and play with the new goats.
While Matt was out riding he saw this mother goat and her kid out in the field next to our house.  He suspects that it's been on it's own for awhile given the unhealthy look of it.  So he roped it off his horse and drug it to the house.  Hayzen was so excited when we showed it to him.  It's one more animal for him to chase after and maul to death.  We plan on asking around to see if anyone lost it but we're hoping that no one claims it so we can have another add on to our little growing farm here.  We figure it would be the perfect weed killer!  The mother is a little wild but hopefully with a little time and tender loving care it will come to be more gentle. 

I thought this was totally a Matt face!  Anyone agree?

Notice the stuffed animals in his hands.  His latest thing is he can't go anywhere, including bed, without some sort of stuffed animal.  The zebra and puppy are this weeks picks. Who knows what next week will be!
