Chicken Fever

Hayzen is still in love with the chickens.  Everyday he asks us to go outside and see the chickens, regardless of the weather.  He loves to chase them down and carry them around like a stuffed animal.  He usually goes for the smallest one because he knows he can catch it.  Here are some pics from only a few days of playing.  If I took them every time this happened, I would have pictures out my ears!  He's such a character!

Hayzen succeeded catching a chicken.  Yeah!
My three Albrecht boys.
While I was outside one day and Matt was occupied on the computer, Hayzen decided he wanted to come outside as well.  Without pants, he put on Matt's church shoes and headed out the door to "see chickens!"  It was funny to watch him try to walk in the shoes.
Once we got him dressed in his own clothes he decided he wanted to play with his truck and the chickens at the same time.  So he caught the smallest, slowest one and tried to wheel it around in his truck.
And would get frustrated when it would fly out.  It eventually gave up flying out because he would just catch it again and put it back in the truck.  He just wouldn't give up.
He got to a point where he was sick of chasing it around so he drove around with it in his arms instead.
