This Little Piggy Cried Wee, Wee, Wee

Sorry it's been awhile. Our family has been so busy. I don't think I've had one whole day in 3 or 4 weeks that I've been home besides maybe one Sunday. Life is on the go right now. Well, I don't know how many of you know, but I started a new job in November. I started out to Circle 4 pig farms as a data tech. Some of the things that my job entails are entering each individual pig's data (breeding, farrowing, how many pigs they farrow, how many die, when they wean, how many they wean, etc.) So even though I'm working in the barns with the pigs it's still an office job with lots of numbers. It's been fun to learn everything. I caught on pretty quick. I think my farm leader was surprised to see a person off the streets who knew nothing about pigs catch on so quickly. It helped to have been raised around cows and know a little bit and then just transfer that knowledge to pigs. All in all though, it's a pretty good job. I am one out of two white people in my barn though. The rest are mexican. I thought that would be a little uncomfortable but they have all been welcoming and I'm even learning a little bit of spanish.
Matt is currently looking for another job. The windmill farm that his crew have been hauling road base to ran out of money until February so he will be out of a job on the 20th. There are a couple of places that he's put applications in to. He's actually been kind of excited because it gives him more opportunities to do something else. So I guess if he's not worried I shouldn't be either.
Hayzen is still growing, growing, growing. He is so cute! It was so hard to be away from him for 6 days while I was in Vegas. Luckily though he was good for my mom. He even had an ear infection and was still good. I think he was better for her than he is for me. I think he knows that I'm a sucker for him and he can pretty much get anything out of me that he wants to. He started waving to everybody and even started standing on his own without support. I'm just waiting for him to take off running. He also mumbles all the time. One of these days I'll expect him to just start talking to me like it's no big deal. He's momma's little sweetheart and daddy's little buddy. He's the light of both of our lives.
The sale was a success and I would post lots of pictures but I unfortunately left my camera in Kaley Sistrunk's car so it will have to wait until I can get my camera. I got some pretty good ones so be looking for them on keslerkaos.blogspot.com. I'll do it as soon as I can.
