It seems like everytime there's a new chapter written in our lives, it ends in the blink of an eye. Matt, Hayzen, and I have decided to move to Holden. Matt took the job with Landon and has started right away. I am working at the pig farms until January 6th and I will be moving over there as well.
Landon called us about a month or so ago and offered Matt a job. He knew Matt was looking for something and Landon needed someone. We told him thanks but no thanks. We had it on our list of options but considered it a last resort. Matt had applied for a county job, had an interview even, had people from Circle 4 begging him to work there, and had a few other options that we were considering. Then this last weekend while we were over there we thought quite a bit about it. We mapped out the pros and cons and prayed very fervently about it. We both felt like it was where the Lord wanted us. Matt said he hadn't had an answer come so clear to him in a long time. We both realized that that's where our goals and dreams were leading us. We also felt we needed to be over there given the family's personal trials so that we might help out in what ever way we could.
I think the pros outweight the cons but it has been very hard knowing that I will be leaving Minersville. I have shed many, many tears because this has become my home and now I have to leave it. I kind of feel like I'm letting the whole town down; I just started a new job, I won't be able to finish out the school year with my piano students, and the second ward is short piano players. I am also going to very much miss our house. We were sad that we didn't qualify for the government loan but we now know why and that it was a blessing in disguise. My heart is broken from leaving my home but I have the hope that we will one day return to this wonderful town. The people here have been so good to our family and have welcomed us with open arms. We have learned the hard way that we go where the Lord wants us whether we want to or not.
I am excited to go back to the ranch but sad at the same time. I also regret that Hayzen will no longer be able to go to nursery. You're not suppose to go to nursery until 18 months but the nursery leader has been so good to Hayzen. He'll even come get him out of Sunday school if we don't take him. Hayzen just adores him as well. He never gets more than five feet away from him while he's in there. He usually just stays on his lap.
This will be a challenging but exciting chapter in our lives I think and we thank all of you who have been supportive at this time. We also owe the Lord so much thanks. He has blessed us in so many ways. "If you're blessed, be a blessing." That's what we're trying to live by. Hopefully this chapter will be a long one because I'm sick and tired of moving!!! Thanks again for all of your support.
