These are the family pictures that we got taken about a month and half ago. We had quite the experience. I swear it's just a given that if you're taking family pictures with a baby, they will be in their worst possible mood and you have to do everything humanly possible to get a decent picture or two. This is what happened to us. Luckily we did get some cute ones but we had a heck of a time getting them.
Hayzen of course had just woke up from a nap and was in the first stages of getting a cold. After we took the first picture we did everything we could to get him to stop crying. I think the more noise the photographer and her assistant made, the worse he cried. Finally Matt went and got his dog, Sydney (as you can see) to calm Hayzen down. He just loves Matt's dogs. While he was gone, however, we were able to get a few of Hayzen and me and ones just of him. It consisted of lots of clapping and "the wheels on the bus". So after Matt and Sydney got there he was calmed down enough to get some decent family pictures.
For those of you who haven't gotten family pictures with babies yet, a fair warning; make sure they are fully awake and not sick!
