Don't freak out everyone but Hayzen has RSV. I had my six week check up today and told the doctor that Hayzen throws up a lot and he said I should take him to his doctor just to make sure everything is ok. So I took him this afternoon and they gave me some zantac to give him for reflux (if that's what it is) and I told them he has been congested and coughing so they checked him for RSV. The doctor said it was just in the early stages and that we caught it just in time. He also said his oxegyn level is good and his lungs sound good which is a relief. So he sent me home with a breathing treatment to do about three times a day and told me to keep the humidifier in his crib like I have been doing. He still acts pretty happy and is eating really well so we hope that with catching it in time he will get better. He was also 10 lbs 12 oz so he is gaining weight (hurray!) We could use some extra prayers though for him and for me for comfort. We are grateful for all the support that everyone gives us. We love you all. With him being sick we won't be able to make it up north this weekend which we are totally bummed about so you all have a good time at Grandpa's and tell everyone hello.

Poor little thing. I'm glad you caught it early though! If you have any questions, give us a call...we're experts on RSV!
I'm so sorry to hear about little hayzen! but yes, it is good you caught it early. he'll be fine, so don't get down. you're an awesome mom!! and thanks for the comments about my food. that means a lot cause sometimes i get down on myself and am afraid that i'll really suck in this field and just fail. so thanks for the encouragement. can't wait to see you guys and especially my new nephew!!
