The Latest

The latest at our house is that Hayzen is so, so close to crawling. You would think that he already is because he will go from one end of the room to the other just from rolling around. He has also started backing himself up when he is on his stomach. In fact, the other day I had to laugh; he started squilling and I went to go get him and he had backed himself into a corner and couldn't move. He is such an active little boy. I know once he starts crawling it will be hard to keep up with him.

Matt passed his CDL with flying colors and started his new job on Monday. He loves not having to wake up until six and coming home at 5:30. He also loves not having to work on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. He says he is now Landon's fellow "occupationalist". It will be nice because on days I don't work or teach piano, Hayzen and I will be able to drive with him.

Yes, that is the other thing. I have started teaching piano. I was a little nervous at first but after the first couple of students, I got the hang of things. I have 13 students total and am taking on one more once volleyball is over. Alot of them are just beginners, have a few that have taken for a few years, and about 3 that have been a little bit of a challenge. They are a little more advanced and I am learning a little bit with them as we go. It's been another great learning and growing experience in my life. I am so glad that I stuck with piano and practiced so that I am able to teach it and earn a little bit more income. I know that the Lord blessed me in that aspect, gave me the love of music and piano so that I could have a great calling and teach kids as well. It's been lots of fun. Thanks Mom for getting me past the point of hating practicing!
