Hayzen Matt Albrecht

The day has finally come that Matt & I have become parents! We are so excited. It's definetely been a different experience; something that no book or testimony could prepare us for. But we are adjusting and are very happy to have our little one here. He is so stinkin' cute and so fun to watch. We can't wait 'til he can smile and laugh.

Labor was aweful! I won't go into detail but lets just say that it was the worst experience of my life. I have no idea why any mother would not consider having a baby her greatest accomplishment. I know it was my greatest. I'm so glad I did it but so glad that it's over. Matt was a huge, huge help. He helped me through everything and was wonderful. My mother was also there and helped me through. I was glad she could be there to share Hayzen's first moments in this world. It really meant a lot to me

The third day after I had him, I went to Holden to get more help from my mom. Camille was also there with Kenzie and Adrie. She was a massive help in getting me started with breast feeding since it was not as easy as I thought. I don't think I would have made it through emotionally had she not been there to help me. Landon, Tawnya and Reese also visited one day so all three of the new grand babies were there together. It was a lot of fun!

Hayzen didn't quite like his sponge bath.
He did, however, like his hair washed.
We had some trouble trying to get everyone situated for our little photo shoot.
Kenzie, "MMM, my boogies taste good." Adrie, "are we done yet?" Reese, "I'm so flippin' tired." Hazyen, "Get me away from all of these girls!"

"Look at me mom! Practice with Adrie payed off!"
"You better keep this in your mouth, Hazyen, or else...."
Hayzen: "Man, I can't get a break around here." Reese: "hehehehehe"
